We have taken it to our local garage and they have done a diagnostic check, They have said we need new glow plugs & relay switch They have quoted us £345.00 plus VAT does this sound a sensible price? 14 replies Follow WebDec 30, 2024 · Using a deep socket or combination wrench, remove the glow plug from the cylinder head. Screw the glow plug reamer into the glow plug opening all the way in then out. Install the new glow plug. Reconnect the connector to the glow plug terminal. Replace the valve cover with a new gasket (if required).
WebJul 15, 2012 · Well I've eventually got around to using Argonought's guide to sort the glow plug warning. Tested all 4 a few times to make sure and cylinder 4 glow plug is dead. Got a 2.6 ohm reading on all but the pin 1 (Yellow). So just ordered a new Bosch glow plug (£14 delivered). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150669894035
