WebI was lucky enough to get a free new TCM in my 2012 Focus after waiting just 7 weeks at the dealer. When I picked it up a few weeks ago, I asked the service tech if these new TCMs have the same fatal flaw as the old ones, and she assured me that this was totally different and would be fine. There is no telling when the back order will be available, many months or years. If I am waiting more than six months with no vehicle, is this bad faith for not providing the TCM in a timely fashion?
